Membership of Temple Havurat Emet is designed to meet the needs of Reform Jews who wish to affiliate with a congregation that is “small enough to know you and large enough to serve you”. We have one regular service a month with a rabbi and cantorial soloist, and one service which is held at individual congregant's homes in which we do an abbreviated set of readings and then discuss the current Torah portion. This is followed by Kiddush, Motzi, and general socializing. We do not have a building of our own, and therefore no building fund. We are available, however, to make Shiva calls, sick calls, and any other personal needs of our congregants.
